Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their business based in Maidstone, Kent. This is a Temp to Perm position which will be made permanent after a 12 week qualifying period
The role entails:
- Making approximately 30 deliveries per day, in and around Sittingbourne, Maidstone and Sheerness
- Deliveries are largely to companies but there are a few residential deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service to customers
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A full 7.5 tonne licence, new Class 2 Drivers are welcome to apply for this role
- A valid digital tachograph and drivers CPC card
- No more than 6 points or a DD or DR
- Our client will provide the successful candidate with the relevant training
Other details:
- Rate of pay = £11 per hour + holiday pay (while in the 12 week probation period)
- The full time salary is £31,000
- The hours of work are Monday to Friday starting at between 05:00 - 08:00
