Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based near Chelmsford, Essex for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing and established accountancy practice.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Ideally ACCA or ICAEW Part Qualified or AAT Qualified
- At least 2 years recent practice experience
- Experience working in a varied and busy environment
The role entails:
- Preparing annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing management accounts
- Preparing VAT returns
- Bookkeeping (experience using both cloud and desktop based software)
- Preparing self assessment tax returns (including personal tax calculations)
- Tax calculations (corporation tax and income tax)
- Dealing with any client enquiries relevant to level of experience
The salary for this position is dependant on experience but up to £30,000 however, our client may be flexible for the right candidate
