Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manager to join their very established firm based in Ilford
The role entails
- All aspects of running a client portfolio of owner managed businesses, principally limited companies
- Planning work loads and meeting deadlines
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior accountants
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
- A detailed knowledge of corporate and personal tax within an SME environment would be essential
- Good people skills and someone with a friendly and helpful approach to clients
- Be a self starter with plenty of initiative
- Minimum of 3 years recent practice experience within a firm of accountants
- Minimum of 3 years working as a senior accountant
- Ideally ICAEW or ACCA qualified
- In-depth working knowledge of accountancy software packages such as Iris, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero is essential
Salary is between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
