Admin Assistant - Isle of Wight

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client; an established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Newport, Isle of Wight for a part-time administration assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, growing practice.

The role entails (but is not limited to):

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post and electronic filing.
  • Scanning client records and updating the central database.
  • Assisting the practice manager with the onboarding of new clients.
  • Assisting the practice manager with the firm's credit control process.
  • Managing the firm's archiving system.
  • Managing the firm's centralised diary and booking meetings.
  • Preparing refreshments for colleagues and for client meetings.
  • Dealing with stationery orders and utility contracts.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to efficiently follow processes and good organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The full time salary for this position is £23,500 and would be pro rata.

This role is a part-time position Monday to Friday 9AM to 2PM.
