Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an Apprenticeship Assessor to join their established training company based in Sittingbourne, Kent

The role entails:

  • Preparing and reviewing session plans, scheme of work and teaching/learning materials using initial assessments and marked work in order to ensure that learners' individual needs are catered for 
  • Planning and delivering engaging and exciting training sessions. Training sessions should inspire and motivate learners both in the classroom and in a workplace environment
  • Providing ongoing support to learners 
  • Assisting with the writing and designing of the curriculum 
  • Monitoring attendance, punctuality and progress
  • Ensuring that a high standard of teaching is delivered 
  • Undertaking any relevant training in order to progress with personal development and to ensure that all training is compliant and up to date 
  • Providing accurate and timely formative and summative assessment and feedback to learners, and maintaining assessment records, including tracking and reporting of learner progress in line with the organisation’s policy
  • Complete qualification administration to required standards for awarding body and verified by IQA/EQA
  • Engaging with quality management processes to ensure that teaching maintains Outstanding OFSTED standards Other
  • Performing any other duties consistent with this position as may from time to time

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Experience with Functional Skills 
  • Experience with leadership, customer service and admin 
  • Having a "can do" attitude 

The salary for this position is up to £32,000 depending on experience
