Venrec are pleased to be recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our clients established practice based in Wolverhampton.

The role entails;

  • Managing a portfolio of clients including small and medium size limited companies, LLP’s, Partnerships and Sole Traders
  • Preparing income tax and corporation tax computations
  • Reviewing VAT returns prepared by junior staff
  • Reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Assisting with the day to day office management including planning staff work loads and deadlines
  • Training junior staff including reviewing work
  • Small amounts of audit work

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences

  • Qualified ACCA or ACA
  • At least 3 years experience working in a firm of chartered accountants
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Experience using IRIS software
  • Confident speaking to clients

The salary for this role is between £32,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
