Venrec are pleased to be recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our clients established practice based in Wolverhampton.
The role entails;
- Managing a portfolio of clients including small and medium size limited companies, LLP’s, Partnerships and Sole Traders
- Preparing income tax and corporation tax computations
- Reviewing VAT returns prepared by junior staff
- Reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff
- Preparing management accounts
- Assisting with the day to day office management including planning staff work loads and deadlines
- Training junior staff including reviewing work
- Small amounts of audit work
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences
- Qualified ACCA or ACA
- At least 3 years experience working in a firm of chartered accountants
- Experience managing a small team
- Experience using IRIS software
- Confident speaking to clients
The salary for this role is between £32,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
