Mainstream Fleet Services are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team based in Sittingbourne, Kent.
Our client can offer a variety of different shifts on an ongoing basis.
The role will entail:
- Refrigerated distribution across a variety of locations.
- Delivering to RDC’s and collections to and from farms.
- On average 12-hour shifts.
- Some flexibility for start times as they may change from time to time.
- Mainly a driving role with minimal handling of the load.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Full Class 1 Driving licence (minimum of 12 months' Class 1 experience).
- Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
- No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
- Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
- Good roadcraft / Geographical knowledge.
Hourly pay rates:
- Monday to Friday (Days): £16.70
- Monday to Friday (Nights): £17.80
- Saturday (Days): £20.00
- Saturday (Nights): £20.70
- Sunday and Bank Holiday (Days): £23.62
- Sunday and Bank Holiday (Nights): £25.87
All the above rates are PAYE paid weekly. Holiday accrual will be in addition to the rates.
