Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Client Manager to join their established firm of Chartered Accountants based near Mansfield .

The role entails:

  • All aspects of running a client portfolio of owner managed businesses
  • Planning work loads and meeting deadlines
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of junior accountants

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

  • A detailed knowledge of corporate and personal tax within an SME environment would be essential
  • Good people skills and someone with a friendly and helpful approach to clients
  • Be a self starter with plenty of initiative
  • Minimum of 3 years recent practice experience within a firm of accountants
  • Minimum of 3 years working as a senior accountant
  • In-depth working knowledge of accountancy software packages such as Iris, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero is essential

Salary is between £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
