Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, an established firm of Chartered Accountants for an experienced Client Manager to join their Maidstone office.

About our client:
- Our client is a successful four partner, 3 office Chartered Practice who specialise in providing accountancy, taxation and business advice within the SME owner-managed sector
The role will entail:
- All aspects of running a client portfolio of owner-managed businesses, principally limited companies
- Assisting with the day to day management of the office
- Planning workloads and meeting deadlines
- Day to day supervision of other team members and assisting in their development and progression
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A highly motivated, self-starter with plenty of initiative
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Good people skills and a friendly and helpful approach to clients
- A detailed knowledge of corporate and personal tax within an SME environment is essential
- At least 5 years recent practice experience within a firm of accountants, ideally with some experience operating in a supervisory/management position
- Ideally ICAEW or ACCA qualified, although exceptional AAT, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience would be considered
The salary of this position is up to £55,000 but may be flexible for the right candidate.
