Document Handler/Administrator - Maidstone

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Maidstone, Kent for an  Document Handler/Administrator to join their health centre 

The role entails (but is not limited to): 

  • Reviewing medical records and producing an accurate summary of the patient's medical history 
  • Electronically filing copies of hospital referrals, hospital letters etc. 
  • Extract data from clinical correspondence and then inputting it into electronic patient records
  • Auditing data collection standards in the practice
  • Ensuring that all data is secure at all times

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Previous experience working in a similar role would be beneficial 
  • Good working knowledge of Windows and MS Office 
  • Awareness and understanding of data security requirements 
  • IT literacy 
  • Experience working within admin
  • The ability to follow instructions and processes 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • The ability to work well as part of a team 

The salary for this position is roughly £16,400 (based on a 32.5 hour working week)
