Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Forklift Driver to join their Transport and Factory Operation based in Sittingbourne, Kent
The role entails:
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Manual stock movement/rotation
- Picking freight
- Quality checking
- General handling of steel products
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or galvanizing environment
- Proven experience using MHE such as Forklift Counterbalance / Telehandler / Combi or Reach
- This role will entail some heavy lifting
- Good attention to detail
- A willingness to undertake various duties when required
The salary for this position:
- £11 per hour + Holiday Pay + Overtime paid at time and a half after 37.5 hours and weekends
- Monday to Friday alternating between 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 hours (overtime is available and optional x1 Saturday per month)
