Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Detling, Kent for a Temp to Perm - General Assistant/Yard Person
The role entails:
- Supporting with the delivery of excellent customer service
- Ensuring that all depot transactions are completed efficiently and accurately
- Servicing and testing equipment to ensure that it is kept in line with quality standards
- Completing admin to ensure that all records relating to equipment servicing/maintenance are up to date
- Taking stock counts, ensuring that stock take information is accurate
More details:
- £10.40 per hour (£23,000)
- The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30
- Overtime is optional
- This is a 12 week temp to perm role
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Having a full driving licence and own transport is essential due to our clients location
- Holding a nationally accredited forklift licence would be advantageous
- Holding a valid CSCS Site Visitor Card would be advantageous
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Having a working knowledge of the construction/housing/civil engineering industry would be beneficial
