Internal Verifier/ Training Manager - Sittingbourne

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Training Manager to join our clients very established business based in Sittingbourne, Kent. Our client is a leading provider of both Government and employer funded training. Our client delivers successful training courses in areas such as Logistics, Construction, Care, Administration and Management.

As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Instructors/Assessors and the Internal Quality Assurance team.  You will also be responsible for ensuring that all compliance requirements are met with awarding bodies, government agencies and accreditation organisations.

The role entails but is not limited to;

  • Managing the “Day to Day” running of the Training Centre.
  • Ensuring that all of the company's Instructors/Tutors/Quality team adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining and improving success rates for all training and Ofsted
  • Playing a key and leading role in selecting, designing and monitoring the training courses
  • Monitor the delivery of all training courses.
  • Monitor the process to measure the sustainability of the resources used within the team
  • Improving and Maintaining online training
  • To audit peers within the delivery team to ensure quality of work.
  • Being accountable for the quality and assurance of accredited training in line with awarding body guidelines and procedures
  • Certifying subcontractors qualifications and a trainers
  • Maintaining and updating the matrix of staff and subcontractor qualifications
  • Responsible for the observations of training delivery to ensure quality is embedded throughout the project and awarding body standard are maintained.
  • Playing a leading role in the development of Self-Assessment Report and the implementation of the firms Quality Improvement plan.

The Successful candidate will have;

  • Experience of running a training centre
  • Experience working within a similar role and environment
  • Internal Quality Assurance experience is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of industry qualifications is desirable

The salary for this role is between £30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
