Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Canterbury, Kent for an Involvement Service Manager to join their growing charity

The Involvement service identifies, supports and implements ways in which service users influence and participate in services. Looking at how the charity supports the people who use services and allowing them to participate in decisions – from concept, design and delivery through to their evaluation.

The role entails (but is not limited to):

  • Leading the charity’s involvement service, assisting the people that are supported by the charity, and giving them a voice within the organisation.
  • Monitoring the impact of services, ensuring that they are effective and well looking at ways in which they can be developed and improved
  • Managing effective risk and safeguarding practices
  • Seeking and responding to client insights, ensuring that these are taken on board
  • Leading the operational mobilisation and implementation of new services when required

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A relevant qualification in management at level 3 or above or a commitment to work towards one
  • Experience placing stakeholders and clients at the heart of decision making
  • Experience making decisions independently and also managing a team
  • Experience improving and managing services, projects and contracts
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working within the health and social care landscape
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A full driving licence and access to a car

The salary for this position is £ 27,800
