Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sittingbourne, Kent for a Metal Processing Operative to join their preparation department.
The role entails:
- Hand wiring products to jogs in preparation of the galvanizing process
- Quality checking
- Hand linishing of products in preparation for the powder coating process
- General handling of steel products
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or galvanizing environment
- Experience working in a manual environment as this role involves heavy lifting and it is a part of the daily activities
- Good attention to detail
- A willingness to undertake various duties when required
The salary:
- £10.50 per hour + Holiday Pay
- Monday to Friday alternating between 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 hours (overtime is available)
