Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mixed Tax Manager to join their well established top 50 practice based in East London.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
- CTA qualified but our client would consider applications from candidates who are ATT/ICAEW/ACCA qualified
- At least 4 years recent experience working in a tax focused role
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients ranging from SME’s to multimillion groups
- Experience managing a team of junior staff, including experience training staff
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience using Digita Personal Tax, Digita Corporation Tax Advanced and Digita Company Secretarial would be beneficial
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
The role entails;
- Managing a portfolio of clients and working as the first point of contact for these clients
- Preparing and reviewing Personal tax returns
- Preparing and reviewing ATED returns
- Preparing and reviewing P11D forms
- Preparing and reviewing EMI scheme returns
- Preparing and reviewing employment related securities returns
- Reviewing corporation tax computations
- Reviewing LLP income tax computations
- Supervising junior members of staff including reviewing work and providing training
- Managing workflow and deadlines to ensure that work is completed in the appropriate time scale
- Preparing client invoices

The salary for this role is between £50,000 - £80,000 depending on experience
Initially this role will involve working from home but the role will be based partially from the office once restrictions have been lifted. Our client is happy to consider applicants who would require flexible office hours.
