Nursery Worker studying for an Apprenticeship in Childcare
The role entails:
-
Providing all aspects of care at the nursery, ensuring that all children receive a high standard of care
-
Ensuring that all learning plans and routines are followed
-
Ensuring that the nursery's standards are maintained and that the environment and resources meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
-
Preparing and supervising activities
-
Making sure that all children are kept safe
-
Completing various domestic tasks when needed including cleaning activity areas, preparing snacks, etc.

Developing and maintaining working relationships with colleagues, parents/guardians
-
Ensuring that any concerns relating to safeguarding are communicated to the designated officer promptly
-
Undertaking any necessary training
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
-
Be willing to do a DBS
-
Have an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or be willing to do an apprenticeship in Childcare

Excellent communication skills
-
Good organisational skills
-
A friendly and positive personality
The salary:
-
The salary for this position is dependent on experience but between £17,500 - £22,000 (apprentices will be on apprentice wage)

The hours of work are Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) these shifts alternate:

07:30 – 18:30 (4 days per week)
-
07:30 – 16:30 (5 days per week)
-
8:00 – 17:00 (5 days per week)
-
09:30 – 18:30 (5 days per week)

Training is provided regularly, and our client has places an emphasis on development and progression. Our client is also happy to fund training for NVQ level 3 in Childcare
