Payroll and Accounts Assistant - Maidstone

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Payroll and Accounts Assistant to join their established practice based in Maidstone, Kent

The role entails (but is not limited to)

  • Preparing weekly and monthly payroll for a variety of clients 
  • Dealing with any payroll related queries
  • Setting up payrolls 
  • Pension auto enrolment 
  • Preparing corporation statements 
  • Bookkeeping 
  • Accounts preparation

A successful candidate will have the following experience 

  • At  least 2 years experience working within an accountancy practice 
  • At least 2 years payroll experience
  • Previous experience using Sage would be beneficial 

The salary for this role is up to £28,000 depending on experience but is flexible for the right candidate
