Recruitment Consultant - Maidstone

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Recruitment Consultant to join their successful and established agency. Our client is located in Maidstone, Kent. Our client specialises in providing temporary staff for the Transport and Industrial sectors, but they are open to exploring different sectors in the future.

The role entails:

  • Pro-actively approaching potential clients about the services that the agency offers.
  • Communicating regularly with candidates via the telephone, text, and email. Making sure that all communications are updated and recorded.
  • Signing up and progressing new candidates through an online registration portal.
  • Filling primarily temporary placements, with the addition of some permanent roles.
  • Attending client meetings face to face or via video conferencing.
  • Booking client meetings with both engaged and prospective clients.
  • Achieving targets and KPI’s
  • Ensuring that all existing or prospective clients are regularly contacted, in order to assess whether they have recruitment needs.
  • Identifying areas for growth (different sectors, areas, etc.)

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous recruitment experience within the Driving or Industrial sectors would be beneficial.
  • Previous sales experience would be beneficial.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working in a target driven role.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to organise your own workload effectively.
  • Holding a valid driving licence would be beneficial.

Other details:

  • Salary of £26,000 + bonus.
  • 20 days + 8 bank holidays.
  • Monday to Friday, office based.
  • Parking available.
  • Our client is flexible with hours.
  • The role will require flexibility as there will be an element of on call support as the agency operates 24/7. This will be on a rota system.
