Venrec are recruiting on behalf of our client a successful Recruitment and Training company for a Senior recruitment consultant/ Branch Manager to join their growing team. They are looking to expand into the Newark  area as a strategic base alongside other elements of Business held in the area. This role would be supported by both a Regional Director and the team based in their Kent head office and is viewed as an opportunity to set up and develop a Business reflective of the Business as a whole in their varied sectors of trade. Whilst beginning singularly it is hoped that both the Branch and the role would grow considerably. 

Our client offers a generous basic salary and bonus structure (which is flexible for the right person), with remote team support initially. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to run and develop their own recruitment Branch, with the support of a well-established business. It is expected that a successful candidate will earn in excess of £50000 per annum and the earnings potential is unlimited. 

Initially these roles may involve working from home but would hopefully develop in to Branch based Businesses alongside an expanding LGV training division that over the next year alone will generate over 250 new LGV drivers in each of these areas through funding streams.

The role entails;

  • Filling permanent and temporary placements
  • Pro-actively approaching potential clients about the services that the company offer
  • Signing up new candidates in your geographical area
  • Using social media/advertising channels to increase candidate numbers
  • Attend client meetings
  • Achieving targets and KPI’s
  • Attending meetings at the head office based in Sittingbourne, Kent or via video conferencing.
  • Recruiting support staff to allow continuous growth.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

  • Recruitment experience in a senior role (experience of recruitment in the Driving /Industrial sectors would be beneficial)
  • Having experience working in a target driven role
  • The ability to work under pressure and to organise their work load effectively
  • The ability to work remotely
  • Driving licence and possibly own vehicle
  • Having experience with Microsoft products including word, outlook and excel
