Venrec are pleased to be recruiting for a Training Engagement Adviser on behalf of our client a successful training and recruitment company based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

The role entails;

  • Providing information, advice and guidance to customers for all training courses
  • Increasing new and repeat business through telephone and face to face conversations with both current and prospective clients
  • Update the company CRM system to ensure that all information relating to customers, leads and sales are correct
  • Following up on all business leads and enquiries and process customer bookings
  • Following administration processes in line with awarding body regulations
  • Attending employer meetings to carry out a training needs analysis and learner enrolment paperwork
  • Engage with external referral agencies, attend job/career events, attend Job Centre Plus meetings with clients to conduct IAG and enrolment paperwork for funded courses
  • Assist in the planning of training schedules
  • Update and maintain funding agency MIS systems
  • General administration duties including but not limited to preparation of training materials, compiling customer files, booking training to rooms and photocopying

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

  • Good communication skills and having a clear telephone voice
  • Confidence speaking to clients both over the telephone and face to face
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of training within a logistics and construction sector would be desirable however this is not essential as training will be provided
  • Holding an IAG qualification or being willing to work towards one
  • A full clean driving licence and access to a car

The salary for this role will be between £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
