Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Office Clerk to join their fast moving Transport Operation based within Swale

This position will require flexibility as our client is looking for shift patterns which are likely to be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 22:00 - 07:00 or potentially 19:00 - 07:00

The role entails

  • Communicating with drivers throughout shift from pre-brief through to de-brief
  • Uploading information on to companies transport management system
  • Pre-planning and resourcing next day’s schedule
  • Tracking vehicles and liaising with fleet department for service requirements
  • General administration duties
  • Taking incoming calls from customers internal and external
  • Liaising with other departments in the business
  • Using bespoke transport systems as well as MS Excel/Word/Outlook


A successful candidate will be 

  • A team player 
  • Confident dealing with both administration and drivers


The pay for this role is £10 per hour + holiday pay and there will be the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate. 


Due to strict Covid-19 procedures currently there will be no face to face interviews. All interviews will take place through Zoom.
