Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Picker, to join their warehouse based in Sittingbourne.
This role entails:
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery and ensuring that they are correctly and safely packaged
- Using a Pivot Steer (Bendi/Flexi) Forklift Truck to move items including stock
- Using handling equipment and ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed
- Undertaking general warehouse duties
- Ensuring that the warehouse/work area is always clean and tidy
- Using scanners to ensure that the correct order is picked and that inventory can be accurately maintained
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Hold a Pivot Steer (Bendi/Flexi) Forklift Truck licence
- Experience working in a similar role
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
The salary for this role is £21,569
Sunday to Thursday 21:00-06:00 (with the regular availability of week/weekend overtime). An additional £25 will also be paid for each nightshift worked
